Hergestellt werden die Netze aus PLA (Polymilchsäure). PLA ist biologisch abbaubar unter Umweltbedingungen, die in der Regel nur in industriellen Kompostieranlagen zu finden sind.

Damit kann vom Konsumenten ein alternativer Entsorgungsweg genutzt werden.
